Sacrament of Confirmation at St Cuthbert’s
The Sacrament of Confirmation strengthens the gifts received in Baptism through the further gift of the Holy Spirit and prepares us for the mission of the Christian life.
At St Cuthbert’s all Baptised Catholic in year 8, will have the opportunity to take part in the Sacrament of Confirmation and will be invited to preparation classes in school.
This is an important part of their spiritual journey. We work in partnership with our local parish churches and the programme consists of six sessions in school, which run from February, and then six parish sessions, which will be at your local parish church.
