The Religious Education curriculum at St Cuthbert’s is designed to incorporate the teachings and values of the Catholic faith, fostering a deep understanding of Catholicism and its relevance in everyday life. The program aims to support students’ spiritual development while providing insight into Catholic doctrines, sacraments, and traditions.

At this stage, Religious Education also focuses on nurturing students’ moral, social, and intellectual growth. By offering a strong moral foundation grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ, students are encouraged to form a well-developed conscience and make ethical decisions. The curriculum highlights key virtues such as compassion, honesty, and respect for the dignity of all people.

Furthermore, the program seeks to inspire critical thinking through the exploration of religious texts, ethical questions, and theological ideas. This approach helps students become well-rounded individuals who are not only knowledgeable about their faith but also prepared to face the challenges of the modern world. With a firm moral compass and a commitment to social justice and the common good, students are empowered to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
