Arrangements for Y11
All Year 11 students will attend school for their examination only and will be on Study leave for the rest of the time.
There will also be a provision for some of our more vulnerable pupils as we have done previously. Pupils who have free school meals will be able to collect a ‘grab bag’ from the front office during each morning.
Our published Complaints Procedure aims to respond within 20 school days of receipt. Due to the volume of correspondence received, responses have taken longer than usual. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
This complaints process is primarily designed to address concerns relating to a student or family’s individual circumstances, or to specific matters where we have a statutory duty to respond. Where issues raised fall within these parameters and do not relate to those addressed in this collective response, they will continue to be considered in accordance with the published procedure.
However, many of the concerns received relate to the ongoing industrial action and are therefore more appropriately addressed through a consolidated response of this nature. We will update this response if additional matters arise and publish any revised version here.
If parents or carers feel their concerns have not been fully addressed through the Trust’s processes, they may raise the matter with the Department for Education via the official complaints route: https://www.gov.uk/complain-to-dfe
