Message to prospective learners and parents/carers

We understand that some students and families may be feeling concerned about GCSE results this summer due to recent industrial action at one of our feeder schools.

We would like to reassure you that our college is a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive community, committed to ensuring that every young person in Rochdale has the opportunity to continue their education and achieve their ambitions.

If you are worried about how your GCSE results may affect your application or future study plans, please don’t be. Our experienced admissions team will work with you to find the right course and pathway in your chosen area of interest. We offer a wide range of programmes and will provide personalised advice and guidance to help you make the best next step.

We encourage all applicants and their families to remember that GCSE results are just one part of the picture. We are committed to supporting learners to succeed and will do everything we can to help you progress onto a suitable course.
